Placing an Order

The fastest and most accurate way to place an order with us is to use our online shopping cart.

Your order will be automatically confirmed to the email address you supply.

Canceling or Modifying an Order

Please do not enter a second order to revise an existing order.

Prices

All prices are subject to change without notice.  The Virant Group, Inc. cannot be responsible for errors or omissions.  Every effort has been made to accurately list prices.

All prices are quoted in U.S. Dollars.

Shipping and Handling Charges

Our shopping cart will calculate the applicable charges based on the options that you choose. This amount is an estimate only.  In the event that actual charges will be significantly different, we will notify you before committing the shipment.

We have a $25 minimum shipping and handling charge.  No charge is made for electronic deliveries.

Import duties, customs fees, and brokerage charges are the responsibility of the customer and may be billed directly to you by the carrier.

Taxes

We collect sales and use taxes for the State of Minnesota and California.  Tax is applied to the total amount of the order, including shipping and handling charges, and is based on the destination and local sales tax rates.

Customers who wish to direct pay sales or use taxes will need to provide applicable documentation before the order will be processed.  Resale certificates of exemption are not acceptable since we only sell to end consumers.

You are responsible to directly pay all other applicable customs duties, sales, use, value added, excise, federal, state, local, or other taxes.

Title

Title to all products is passed to you upon shipment from our facility.  Title to software remains with The Virant Group, Inc. in accordance with our license agreement.

Returned checks will be assessed a $25 fee.

Prepayment is required on all international orders (credit card, wire transfer, or check).

How do I complete a bank wire transfer?

Credit Card Security

The personal information you enter in our shopping cart, including your billing information, is protected using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption technology.  We use this technology to prevent your information from being viewable as it is transmitted over the Internet.  The encrypted data goes to a secure site where your information is stored on restricted-access computers at restricted-access sites.

For your protection, credit card information is not retrievable in our shopping cart for future orders.  You will need to re-enter this information each time you place an order.

Credit Card Security Code

The Card Security Code (CSC) is a 3- or 4-digit number printed on your credit card.  It provides added security when you use your card on the Internet or over the phone.  The number appears only on the card itself, not on receipts or statements.

We ask for the CSC when you enter your payment information.  This helps ensure that anyone placing an order with us has the card in his or her possession and is not using a stolen credit card number.

Using a Corporate Purchasing Card

If you have a corporate purchasing card (MasterCard, American Express, Visa), please provide additional information, such as Card Member Reference Field, Cost Center, and Department Code, in the comments area as required by your purchasing department.

Promotional Codes

We occasionally send out promotional offers via email, fax, or postal mail. If you are ordering from one of these promotions, or if a customer service representative gives you a code, please enter it in the applicable space in the shopping cart.
