Delivery of Services

Certain projects may require onsite work. A minimum of 4 hours will be billed for onsite work. Daily working hours may be extended depending on the scope of work.

Travel and Lodging

The Virant Group will make travel and lodging arrangements. We offer flexibility in travel dates to accommodate your needs and to obtain reasonable airfare prices. Generally we will book a direct flight in coach class. Generally lodging will take place at a mid-priced convenient hotel.

Testing and Acceptance

All projects requiring acceptance testing will conform to the following procedures:

Testing of Deliverables

  • A reasonable period of testing and error correction is considered a normal part of the development process.
  • On-site testing is to be conducted by following the Test Plan either written or approved by The Virant Group.
  • The normal test period for acceptance is ten business days unless otherwise agreed to.

Correction of Defects

  • If material defects are identified during the testing period, a bug list will be submitted identifying the particular specification at issues and detailed reasons why the tested feature does not meet the specification.
  • Minor imperfections tat do not materially impair the operation of the deliverable will be repaired at our discretion and will not offset the acceptance of any deliverable.

Acceptance of Deliverables

  • If no material variances from the Test Plan are identified in writing during the testing period, the deliverable will be considered accepted.
  • Clients agree to not reject deliverables containing nonconformities without first attempting in good faith to make beneficial use of the deliverable in its diminished capacity while corrections are being made.
