Does V-Launcher run on a client or on the server?
V-Launcher automates standard VISUAL client activity so it can operate on any client computer configured to run VISUAL Enterprise™.  For security and convenience it may make sense to run V-Launcher on a station dedicated to systems administration like the SQL Console machine.

Am I able to automate other tasks such as month-end reports?
Not presently.  Based on user feedback additional tasks will be included in the next release.

What happens if a task fails during nightly processing?
Since V-Launcher merely automates normal VISUAL processing, any error will result in the same state as if the task failed without V-Launcher running.  You will need to close down the offending window and resolve the problem.  The processing log file only indicates that a task completed successfully if it went all the way through and the final window of the task is destroyed.

Is there a maintenance fee for V-Launcher?
No.  Future upgrades will be offered to current users at a special price.
